- HOW WE WORK
How we work
Five steps, in the same order, whether the job is a logo or a year of posts.
THE ORDER
Five steps, every time
- CONSULTATION
Thirty minutes on where the brand is now, and what is in the way.
- MARKET RESEARCH
Reviews, competitors, the block it sits on. Numbers first.
- A PLAN, SCOPED
One proposal, built to your budget, saying what each piece is for.
- GUIDELINES
Before the first post, you get brand guidelines. Colours, type, photo style and how the brand talks.
- BUILT AND RUN
We make it, publish it, and stay on the account. Every piece is checked against your guidelines.
STEP 01
Consultation
It starts with a free 30 minute call. Send the account handle or the name of the shop beforehand and we will have looked before we talk.
We ask what you sell, who buys it, what has worked and what has not. You leave the call knowing what we would do first.
STEP 02
Market research
Before we design anything we read what customers already say. That usually means Google reviews, the accounts of competitors nearby and the street the business sits on.
For one restaurant group we read more than two thousand reviews before writing a single caption. The patterns in those reviews decide what the brand leans on.
STEP 03
A plan, scoped
You get one proposal. It lists every deliverable, what it is for and what it costs, so you can drop or add pieces line by line.
Every Komma proposal carries a document number and stays valid for 30 days.
STEP 04
Guidelines
Before anything is published, we write down the rules. Colours, type, photo style, and the voice the brand speaks in.
Guidelines keep a feed, a menu and a storefront sign consistent even when different people make them. They are yours to keep.
STEP 05
Built and run
Then we make the work and publish it. Posts, reels, print, web pages, Google profile updates, whatever the plan says.
We stay on after launch. Each month we look at what moved, adjust, and keep going. That is the Komma in the name: a pause, then the next sentence.
FAQ
About the process
How long does it take to get started?
Usually a week or two from the first call. Research and the proposal come first, then guidelines, then the first published work.
Do I have to approve everything?
Yes. Plans, designs and captions go to you for approval before they are published. We share a proof link so you can comment in one place.
What if I already have a logo and colours?
Then we start from what you have. We measure your existing brand and write guidelines around it. Nothing gets redesigned unless you ask.
Do you sign a contract?
Yes. Once the proposal is accepted we confirm scope, timing and payment in writing before work begins.
